Trinity Centre team

The Trinity Centre brings together people from the refugee and asylum seeking communities of Cardiff and the wider community.

Trinity Centre aims to:

  • provide a safe community space where refugee community organisations and other groups can meet and find other groups with complementary purposes.
  • provide and enable activities where people of different races, nationalities, faiths and traditions can meet and engage with one another.
  • promote education amongst communities and about communities.
  • provide information, advice and advocacy for those seeking asylum.

In bringing together the people of Cardiff, the centre seeks to help build mutual understanding, intercultural communication, respect and trust.

Current activities and services include:

  • Space4U drop-in
  • Cardiff STAR Conversation Club
  • STAR Communities First Accredited ESOL classes
  • Welsh Refugee Council Stay & Play Toddler Group
  • DPIA Cardiff Refugee and Asylum Seeker Advocacy Forum
  • Fair & Square Participation Group
  • Up & Learning Zumba+ for women & children
  • Cardiff Asylum Support Advocacy – helping to protect asylum seekers’ rights to food and shelter
  • Music Without Borders
  • Film Club

Drop-in for asylum seekers is Mondays and Thursdays (daytime) and every Wednesday (5:30pm-7:30pm) where there are free refreshments, pool, table-tennis and English classes.
